Naturally humans do better when they feel respected, understood, and cared for. When they have a consistent support system and the appropriate coping tools to most effectively manage life’s unpredictable variations and inevitable transitions. Hence why, meeting these essential needs, is a primary goal in my practice. I provide a safe space for individuals and couples to discover useful tools and work at their own pace as they resolve pre-marital, martial, and individual issues.

I help individuals and couples to recognize and build on their strengths and abilities in a judgement-free, empathetic environment. My office is a compassionate place to explore old injuries and trauma; to learn how to successfully deal with disagreements, repair after a fight, and work on trust building. The couples and individuals I see acquire useful knowledge to change ineffective beliefs and reconstruct cognitive patterns that compromise their sense of wellbeing and that interfere with their ability to use healthy responses to life’s stressors.

I aspire to help individuals and couples gain a deeper understanding of themselves and create a hopeful and realistic narrative of their relationships and the world. I empower clients to challenge flawed perceptions feeding into unhealthy behaviors that hinder their capacity to live up to their definition of a fulfilling life. My philosophy is that although there is a lot that we do not control, things can get better when the right factors are put in place.
